MDMA-assisted therapy in Lebanon
CEP is assessing the feasibility and potential economic impact of MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD in Lebanon, extending the approach of our Ukraine analysis to another setting carrying a heavy trauma burden with a mental health system that cannot meet existing demand. The questions are the practical ones that come before any coverage discussion: what delivery would cost, who could provide it, what health gains are plausible at scale, and what has to be in place first.

Building on the Ukraine study and our assessment of implementation readiness in low- and middle-income countries, CEP is expanding this work across the Middle East, with scoping underway in.
